93,744 People Are Missing the Point

After years of hard work to get their child into the right school.  Many parents heave a sigh of relief, start scrolling through Pinterest and hoarding Bed, Bath & Beyond coupons.

Suckers.

You and I know something different.  Getting into the right school is only the first step.

For the admitted freshman

  • 28% drop out
  • 12% transfer to another four-year college
  • 60% return for their sophomore year

All that time and energy and almost half of the students don’t come back after their freshman year.

Where those parents go wrong is that they haven’t helped their child transition from getting into school to taking full advantage of the school they’ve gotten into.

A university can have all the great programs in the world but if your child doesn’t know how to handle conflict with their roommate, talk to professors, or find those amazing programs, they aren’t going to have a good experience.

I’ve written Savvy to address these issues and help your child prepare.  They’ll hit the ground running the first week of school and get off to a great start.

Class starts next week and I don’t want you to miss it.  If you don’t have a college student but you know someone that does, please share this email with them.  We don’t want their kids dropping out either.
